Appointment distribution decides who is assigned new appointments within a calendar. When configuring your appointment distribution you have two options.
1. “Optimize for Availability” is based on availability and priority. For instance, if a customer makes an appointment the distribution tool will first look for who has highest priority within that calendar. In this case, you can see it would be Maxwell Copeland. Next the distribution tool will look if Maxwell is available during that time, if he is he will be assigned the appointment. If Maxwell already is booked for a different appointment, the distribution tool will then go to the next team member with the highest priority who is available.
2. “Optimize for Equal Distribution” is exactly what it sounds like. This distribution option will split appointments across all team members in that calendar.
