Submitting Google My Business Documents

Modified on Tue, 19 Apr 2022 at 01:48 PM

Google My Business should be a local businesses best friend. It is an incredible tool to help connect small businesses with customers in their area. Utilizing the many different custom fields in your google profile is key to optimizing its potential.

That being said, Google has little tolerance for those who don't follow their rules. If google requests you submit particular business documents proving ownership of the business or verifying the location, you must submit them immediately and correctly.

You'll need to ensure you upload the correct document/s requested, or else Google can suspend your listing. If that occurs, your Google profile will be removed Google and will remain that way until you submit a review and it is approved. The approval process takes a few days and if approved can take another few days to actually be live on Google again.
